NZ Associate Registered Nutritionist (ARNutr)
BAppSc (Human Nutrition), BAppSc (Food Science)

I am a qualified nutritionist with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Human Nutrition.

A lifetime of eating and showing manaaki through feeding others has led me to this role where I support people to nourish themselves by providing nutrition advice and guidance.

A passionate foodie, I grew up in a family that used food as a connection point for celebrations, commiserations, and reward. This approach didn’t always lead to good choices and eating to nourish my body. Overtime I have learned to listen to what my body needs and fuel myself for health and wellbeing.

Nutrition needs change based on age, stage, and lifestyle. These changes can sometimes sneak up on us until suddenly we notice there has been a change in how we feel or physical changes in our body. This may have an impact on our health and wellbeing and can result in a loss of confidence and lack of clarity of what to do to course correct. In recent years I have experienced changes to my body with perimenopause that have led me to make dietary and lifestyle adjustments to support my health and wellness journey. Helping other who are going through this change is a special interest area for me.

I can provide you with realistic and practical nutrition support for life’s transitions so you can feel in control of changes occurring. When we feel empowered and have a plan on how to tackle change, we are more likely to be successful in adapting to our new situation.
